This application is designed for consumers to contact certified organic farmers and for farmers to manage their harvest records. By using this application, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
We collect and use several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you:
- • Personal Data: Consumer Name, Mobile Number (for OTP authentication), and address details.
- • Consumer's Location Data: We collect precise and approximate location data to display nearby organic farmers to consumers and to record harvest locations for farmers.
- • Camera and Microphone: The application may request access to the device’s camera and microphone solely for authorized administrators or department staff to capture and upload photos and videos of farmers’ cultivated organic products for certification purposes and display within the consumer interface.
- • Media and Storage: We require access to your device's storage to save and upload media files (photos/videos) related to your agricultural activities.
Farmer Data Disclosure
For registered Organic Farmers, the following information is made available to consumers to facilitate communication and trade. This data is provided by the Telangana State Seeds Certification Agency from official records.:
- • Farmer Name and Contact details.
- • Map view of the cultivated land (Longitude and Latitude).
- • Crop details, category, and products cultivated.
Data Processing and Analytics
The application processes agriculture-related and transaction data, including cultivation details and analytics on consumer interactions (e.g., most searched products by area) to improve government service delivery and transparency in organic farming.
Third-Party Services
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service:
- • Mapping Services: For displaying location data.
- • SMS Providers: For OTP-based authentication.
- • Cloud Storage (Cloudinary): For secure storage of user-uploaded photos and videos of crops.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and physical safeguards, including OTP-based authentication and role-based access control. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
